What has gone wrong?

My camera isn't there
Check the browser first — it is normally the one holding the permission — then whether another app has the camera and names itself. Both are fixable without leaving the meeting.

Check which microphone you are on — plugging headphones in switches you over, and unplugging them does not switch you back.
Change my microphone →They hear an echo of themselves when I talk
You will not hear it on your own machine, so take their word for it. It happens when what the meeting plays out loud gets back into your microphone — headphones, or a speaker with a cable, stops it.
Change my sound →Captions won't turn on
It depends on your browser, and one case asks before it spends your data. Chrome downloads a speech model first; Safari cannot keep speech on the device; Firefox has none at all.
What my browser can do →I keep getting dropped
We hold your place for ninety seconds and put you back where you were. If it happens twice in a meeting, turning your camera off is the fastest fix.
